About Us

M&M Communications, Inc.  was started in 1982 by William "Monty" Montgomery out of his Dodge work van and a small warehouse in Houston after he retired from the phone company. In 1984 his son W. Russell Montgomery was laid off from the phone company and went to work with his father selling, installing, and maintaining phone systems.  M&M transformed from a 3 person operation with a handful of technicians to a small business with over 50 employees and over 10,000 Sq.Ft. of warehouse fully stocked with phone equipment.

In the mid 90's M&M was selling phone equipment all over the world and had at any given time over 1 million in phone equipment in the warehouse ready to be shipped. At that time M&M was in a large industrial warehouse district in Houston where the neighbor company's warehouse caught fire causing M&M to lose almost all inventory in the warehouse. 

Once the warehouse in Houston was straightened out M&M decided to build a warehouse of its own in Rosenberg Texas just outside of Houston.  M&M built a 7500 Sq. Ft. warehouse with 1500 feet for office and test space which is still the primary location.

In 2006 Mario Montgomery joined M&M and just like his father Russell started at the bottom of the ranks pulling cable, refurbishing telephones, and eventually installing telephone equipment.

Now in 2011 Mario and Russell are running the family business together and still providing the customer service our customers have grown to expect from their telecommunication provider.
